Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord

Mount&Blade II: Bannerlord is a sandbox action-RPG strategy hybrid and the next installment in the Mount&Blade franchise, acting as a prequel to Mount&Blade: Warband.
The game is currently under development by TaleWorlds.

Storyline--:

The game takes place following the death of the heirless Emperor of the Calradic Empire. The empire splits into three factions fighting for power while criminal bands watch closely, looking to profit from the chaos.

The player will shape its future, reuniting the empire or eliminating it.

This seems to be a repeat of history, as the "Calrad Empire" fell before the beginning of the previous games, leading to the various independent factions.
